Cornerstone Social Cafe

The Cornerstone Cafe is open to everyone in the community.

It’s open on Thursdays from 9.30 to 12.00, and in winter it is open until 2.00 as a Warm Space.

It costs £2 a week subs, and for that you get unlimited tea and coffee and biscuits. You also get beans on toast free if you want!

Often there is free cake, or other items for a small charge.

But MOST OF ALL you get a great atmosphere, with lots of local people who are very friendly!

There are usually other things to do including a quiz.

The best thing you will find is that everyone is very supportive and helpful to each other.

There is a Cornerstone Cafe Organizer called Helen Warren who runs the cafe, with help from other volunteers.

Cornerstone Cafe is part of the The Christian Centre’s shared activities with the Anglican churches in town, which is why it is called Cornerstone Cafe.
