Small Meeting Room

When rooms are not needed for its own purposes, the Church rents out its rooms on a long-term, short-term, or one-off basis.  Bookings are invited for meetings, exhibitions, presentations, wedding receptions and other activities.

For charges for the conduct of a wedding or funeral,  see under ‘Weddings and Funerals’.

Users of rooms on a long-term basis should request confirmation of space each year from the Lettings Secretary.

The following are the room charges which have been agreed by the Church Council (see pictures below):

Church Hall: £10 per hour.    Seats 60-70 people in chairs,  60 people seated at tables. There is data projection fitted into the ceiling and an 8′ by 8′ electrically retractable screen is fitted to the rear wall of the room.  The room is fitted with powered speakers.

Sanctuary: £10 per hour.  Seats approximately 100 people.  A data projector in the ceiling and a 6′ by 6′ electrically retractable screen have been installed.  There is a loop system in place and a modern microphone system.

Small Meeting Room: £5 per  hour. Seats approximately 15-20 people.

Kitchen:  Use to be requested in writing and agreed by the Church Council.

Storage Space: £50 per annum dependent upon available space.

All requests for long- or short-term rental, or a one-off letting should be addressed to the Lettings Secretary, Mrs. Elizabeth Brook at elizabethbrook@hotmail.com.

The church is ‘disability friendly’ with a ramp leading up to the front door,  a ramp into the church hall from the car park, a stair lift, and a disabled toilet.  There is a loop system in both the sanctuary and the church hall.

The kitchen facilities have been given a 5-star rating for hygiene.  The members of the church who work in the kitchen all have a current Level-2 certificate (QCF) for food safety in catering.
