The Church and its activities are being transformed by a new partnership with Food Matters – The Stocksbridge Food Bank.

Church agrees to conduct same-sex marriages.

We are pleased to announce that the Church Council agreed recently to conduct same-sex marriages.  We will publish further details when the registration process is complete.

We are joining “Inclusive Church”

We are so outraged by the flags appearing on lamp-posts and the video of young men throwing stones at hostels while claiming to be Christians, that we want to find a way to be very clear in public that this is not the faith of Jesus and Christianity is not that.  So we have decided to join the “Inclusive Church” movement, and to put a banner up outside saying that we do not accept discrimination of any kind and all are welcome in our church.

ON-SITE WORSHIP !   Sundays at 10:30 AM.

Baby Group.  Run by the Stocksbridge TARA and the church.  Mondays 9.00-11.00

Community Lunch.  Alternate Tuesdays, open from 11-00 to 2.00.  Booking essential.

Runway Youth Club.  For years 1 – 5  on Wednesdays from 3.00 to 5.00.

Bolsterstone Hand-bell Ringers.  on Wednesdays 7.30 – 9.30.

Warm Welcome Social Cafe:   The Cafe is open each Thursday from 9 to 12.00 AM.  Sometimes it is open for longer in the colder weather.

Saturday Coffee Morning is open every Saturday from 10 AM to Noon.

Stocksbridge Food Bank.  Our church is the host to Food Matters, which runs the Food Bank and the Community Outlet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00.  Please go to their Face Book page at Food Matters Stocksbridge for more details.

Garden of Meditation.  As a permanent memorial to the 60th anniversary celebrations in 2019,  we have created a ‘Garden of Meditation’ at the rear of the church for everyone in the community to come, rest and reflect.
