Room Hire

When rooms are not needed for its own purposes, the Church rents out its rooms on a long-term, short-term, or one-off basis.  Bookings are invited for meetings, exhibitions, presentations, wedding receptions and other activities.

Users of rooms on a long-term basis should request confirmation of space each year from the Lettings Secretary.

The following are the room charges which have been agreed by the Church Council (see pictures below):

Main Church and Community Room  We have just modernised the main room and we are expecting new photos soon.  the charge to use the room is £15 per hour.  Seats approximately 100 people.  A data projector in the ceiling and a 6′ by 6′ electrically retractable screen have been installed.  There is a loop system in place and a modern microphone system.

Small Meeting Room: £5 per  hour. Seats approximately 10 people. (not available at the moment)

Kitchen:  Use to be requested in writing and agreed by the Church Council.

The church is ‘disability friendly’ with a ramp leading up to the front door,  a ramp into the church hall from the car park, a stair lift, and a disabled toilet.  There is a loop system in both the sanctuary and the church hall.

The kitchen facilities have been given a 5-star rating for hygiene.  The members of the church who work in the kitchen all have a current Level-2 certificate (QCF) for food safety in catering.
